Next stop was the Sagrada Familia Church - one look at the massive queue and Peter declared that 'nothing was worth queueing that long for' so we walked round it admiring the view from the outside whilst I made a mental note to book online for a time later in the week so that we won't have to queue!!

By this time it was lunch time and not a rain cloud in sight! We grabbed some lunch and then went up to La Pedrera which was an apartment block built by Gaudi.

After 6 hours on our feet we were too tired to do anything else and made our way back to the apartment for a rest. In the evening we went out to a local tapas bar which was packed with people - we had to wait 40 mins for a table but it was worth it as we have another very nice meal.
